This is a nice example of the rare WWII Vehicle Scabbard for the U. S. M1 Carbine that is in a remarkable state of preservation. It is U. S. marked, manufactured by S. Froehlich Company, Inc. and dated 1943. The scabbard shows signs of being honestly used, the leather is still light tan throughout and the deep black finish is still present on all metal parts.
